    East meets West in this colorful collection of Chinese folk tales dramatized in an exciting story-theatre form and performed in the traditional style of the Land of the Dragon. Enhanced by music and mime, these playlets combine various types of drama–comic, adventurous, poetic–and are linked by a beguiling monkey who uses his magical powers to aid the heroes and heroines and to defeat the villains. Monkey Magic is theatre at its best for audiences around the world.
