    quiet was founded on the belief that art has the compelling ability to call up both artist and audience to take action in their personal/internal lives and respond by engaging in their larger community. As such, quiet believes meaningful art can change the world.To participate in this process, quiet takes its cue from the savory structure of the Turducken (yes we do mean the fabulous fusion of the poultry powerhouse trio: turkey, chicken and duck). In this bane, quiet sees the following characteristics not as separate entrees that may occasionally be featured at a Las Vegas buffet or an overambitious family reunion. Rather each characteristic is intended to marinade with the others, retaining its individually distinct character and flavor, while at the same time being enriched and augmented by the aspect of the others. These three Statements of Purpose guide quiet as we plan for the future. Community: In community, quiet develops educational platforms for learning, frames dynamic venues for dialogue, and maintains accessibility for both artist and audience in order to impact the larger community. Art: Since quiet believes meaningful art can change the world, quiet is dedicated to artistic excellence that encourages growth by developing connections between the following: artist and audience; projects and people; the internal and the external. Change & Transformation: In order to engage in change and transformation, quiet works to empower disempowered voices, raise individual and collective awareness on contemporary social issues, and produce works that explore all aspects of the human story.
