5th Avenue Theatre
The 5th Avenue Theatre is a non-profit theatre that develops, produces and presents the best in musical theatre in a subscription series. The 5th Avenue Theatre Association exists to develop, produce and present live musical theater for the cultural enrichment of the Northwest community, and to preserve, maintain, and operate the historic and irreplaceable 5th Avenue Theatre.

Young Americans' Theatre CompanyThe Young Americans' Theatre Company was founded in March 2008, to provide opportunities for young artists to be involved with theatre outside the influence of traditional educational environments. YATC premiered with a double bill of On The Edge by Craig Pospisil along with Jonathan Marc Sherman's Women and Wallace in August 2008. Women and Wallace was voted Best Play of 2008 by Teen Tix while YATC was honored as Best New Troupe of 2008 with a Seattle Times Footlight Award. Seattle Children's TheatreSeattle Children's Theatre, which will celebrate its 35th season in 2009-2010, performs September through June in the Charlotte Martin and Eve Alvord Theatres at Seattle Center. Since its inception, SCT has gained acclaim as a leading producer of professional theatre, educational programs and new scripts for young people. At the end of its 2008-2009 season, SCT had presented over 200 plays, 101 of which were world premieres, and entertained over 4 million children. |
